WHAT IS PULQUE?

Pulque is an alcoholic beverage that is produced by the fermentation of honey water (aguamiel), obtained scraping the heart of the maguey plant. Pulque was a popular drink among the aztecs and was known as “God’s beverage.” Pulque is also know as the Grandfather of Tequila.
